Position Summary
Black Collection Apparel is seeking a creative, motivated, and culturally aware Content Creator Intern to support content production, social media marketing, storytelling, and brand engagement across multiple digital platforms.
This internship provides hands-on experience creating real-world content for apparel collections, HBCU campaigns, Greek organization marketing, Juneteenth promotions, product launches, vendor events, podcasts, commercials, and social media campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about content creation, branding, media, culture, and digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling

Assist in creating engaging photo, video, and written content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Shopify, YouTube, and marketing campaigns.

Support content creation for apparel launches, HBCU collections, Greek organization campaigns, Juneteenth initiatives, and community events.

Participate in brainstorming creative concepts, campaign ideas, skits, interviews, and promotional content.
Social Media & Brand Engagement

Help manage and maintain social media platforms with consistent and engaging content.

Monitor social media trends, viral formats, and audience engagement opportunities.

Assist with community interaction, audience engagement, and content scheduling.
Production & Creative Collaboration

Support photo shoots, video shoots, behind-the-scenes content, and event coverage.

Collaborate with marketing, design, media, and sales teams on content strategies and campaigns.

Assist with organizing content calendars and maintaining project deadlines.
Analytics & Performance Tracking

Monitor content performance metrics including engagement, reach, views, and audience growth.

Assist with identifying high-performing content and recommending improvements for future campaigns.

Learn to use analytics tools to track content and campaign performance.
Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.

Strong interest in content creation, social media, branding, fashion, and marketing.

Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and content trends.

Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or editing software preferred.

Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
