Position Summary
Black Collection Apparel is seeking an ambitious, energetic, and relationship-driven Sales Executive Intern to support sales growth, customer engagement, brand partnerships, and business development initiatives.
This internship provides hands-on experience in sales strategy, customer outreach, event preparation, apparel sales, marketing collaboration, and relationship building within a growing apparel, branding, media, and e-commerce company. Interns will work directly on real campaigns, vendor events, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives connected to HBCUs, Greek organizations, Juneteenth campaigns, homecoming season, and community events.
The ideal candidate is motivated, confident, team-oriented, and interested in sales, branding, entrepreneurship, marketing, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Outreach

Assist with developing and executing sales outreach strategies for apparel collections, campaigns, and events.

Engage with potential customers through social media, direct outreach, events, and marketing initiatives.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, organizations, schools, businesses, and community groups.
Sales Support & Brand Promotion

Assist with presenting products, collections, and promotional offers to customers and organizations.

Support vendor events, pop-up shops, conferences, and community activations.

Help track customer interactions, sales activity, and engagement performance.
Market Research & Business Development

Research HBCU, Greek, fashion, and consumer trends to identify sales opportunities and target audiences.

Assist with identifying partnership opportunities, bulk order opportunities, and community outreach initiatives.

Gather customer feedback and share insights with marketing and leadership teams.
Collaboration & Reporting

Collaborate with marketing, content, media, and operations teams to support campaigns and product launches.

Assist with preparing sales reports, customer summaries, and performance updates.

Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and business development discussions.
Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Sales, or a related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Interest in sales, branding, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Comfortable communicating with customers in-person and online.

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools preferred.

Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
