Position Title: Graphic Designer Intern
Department: Marketing and Creative Services
Reports To: Senior Graphic Designer
Position Summary:
Black Collection Apparel is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Designer Intern to join our creative team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of graphic design within the fashion industry. The ideal candidate should be a creative thinker with a passion for design and a strong desire to learn and contribute to the success of our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of digital and print designs, including promotional materials, email marketing campaigns, social media graphics, and in-store displays.
- Support the design team in the conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion.
- Help maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects, adhering to company guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Handle multiple projects at once under tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Prepare mock-ups and present ideas to senior designers for feedback.
- Receive guidance and feedback from experienced graphic designers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools that will assist in making designs innovative and modern.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of design software and technologies (such as Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- A portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for aesthetic quality and visual details.
- Ability to receive constructive criticism and make necessary changes to designs.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
