Compensation:

This is an educational internship focused on hands-on professional experience, portfolio development, and real-world business exposure. Select opportunities may include performance-based incentives, commission opportunities, referral incentives, or future growth opportunities.

Position Summary

Black Collection Apparel is seeking energetic, outgoing, and motivated Brand Ambassador / Campus Ambassador Interns to help expand brand awareness, student engagement, customer relationships, and community outreach initiatives.

This internship provides hands-on experience promoting apparel collections, campaigns, events, and brand initiatives connected to HBCUs, Greek organizations, Juneteenth celebrations, homecoming season, entrepreneurship, and cultural experiences. Interns will serve as representatives of the brand by helping drive engagement, content creation, customer interaction, campus awareness, and promotional growth.

The ideal candidate is social, professional, creative, and passionate about branding, culture, networking, fashion, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Promotion & Community Engagement

Promote Black Collection Apparel products, campaigns, and initiatives through social media, campus engagement, and community outreach.
Help increase brand awareness among students, organizations, businesses, and local communities.
Represent the company professionally during events, activations, pop-up shops, and marketing initiatives.

Social Media & Content Support

Assist with creating social media content, promotional videos, photos, testimonials, and brand-related posts.
Share marketing campaigns, product launches, and event promotions across digital platforms.
Help identify viral trends, student interests, and audience engagement opportunities.

Campus & Event Outreach

Build relationships with HBCUs, student organizations, fraternities, sororities, campus groups, and community leaders.
Assist with promoting vendor events, campaigns, apparel launches, and internship initiatives.
Support flyer distribution, networking opportunities, and campus/community activations.

Sales & Referral Support

Help generate leads, referrals, and customer engagement opportunities.
Assist with connecting organizations and customers to apparel, branding, and marketing services.
Track outreach activity, campaign participation, and customer engagement efforts.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Entrepreneurship, Fashion, or a related field.
Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
Active on social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Interest in branding, fashion, marketing, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
Comfortable interacting with students, customers, and organizations.
Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented.
