Position Summary

Black Collection Apparel is seeking a motivated, innovative, and technology-driven AI & Automation Intern to support automation systems, artificial intelligence workflows, operational efficiency, and digital business development initiatives within our growing apparel, branding, media, and e-commerce company.

This internship provides hands-on experience working with AI tools, automation platforms, workflow optimization, data organization, Shopify systems, content automation, customer engagement systems, and operational process improvement. Interns will help identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, improve business efficiency, and support scalable systems for marketing, production, sales, and customer operations.

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, creative, and interested in technology, AI tools, automation systems, and business innovation.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Workflow Automation

  • Assist with researching and implementing AI tools and automation systems to improve business operations.

  • Support automation projects related to content creation, customer service, marketing, inventory tracking, and reporting workflows.

  • Help streamline repetitive operational tasks using automation platforms and digital tools.

Business Systems & Technology Support

  • Assist with organizing and improving internal workflows, dashboards, and operational systems.

  • Support Shopify integrations, digital reporting systems, and productivity tools.

  • Help identify inefficiencies and recommend technology-driven solutions.

Data & Analytics

  • Assist with organizing and analyzing operational, marketing, and sales data.

  • Support dashboard development and KPI tracking for social media, Shopify, customer engagement, and business performance.

  • Help monitor automation performance and identify areas for improvement.

Research & Innovation

  • Research emerging AI tools, automation trends, and technology solutions relevant to e-commerce, media, marketing, and apparel production.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions focused on innovation, scalability, and operational growth.

  • Assist with documenting workflows, automation procedures, and system processes.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Technology, Engineering, AI, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in AI, automation, technology, entrepreneurship, and business systems.

  • Familiarity with AI tools, spreadsheets, databases, automation platforms, or programming concepts preferred.

  • Basic understanding of Python, APIs, workflow systems, or automation software is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
