Position Summary
Black Collection Apparel is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Inventory & Logistics Intern to support inventory management, fulfillment operations, vendor coordination, event preparation, and operational logistics.
This internship provides hands-on experience working directly with apparel inventory systems, Shopify order fulfillment, vendor management, event preparation, shipping operations, and production organization within a fast-paced apparel, branding, and media company. Interns will assist with organizing products, preparing for vendor events, tracking inventory movement, and improving operational workflows connected to HBCU collections, Greek organization apparel, Juneteenth campaigns, and homecoming season.
The ideal candidate is interested in operations, logistics, supply chain management, organization, and business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management

Assist with organizing and tracking apparel inventory, production supplies, promotional materials, and event merchandise.

Help monitor inventory levels and identify low-stock items or supply shortages.

Support inventory audits, inventory reconciliation, and product organization systems.
Fulfillment & Shipping Operations

Assist with Shopify order fulfillment, packaging, labeling, and shipping preparation.

Help ensure customer orders are organized, accurate, and completed efficiently.

Support quality checks before products are packaged and shipped.
Event & Logistics Coordination

Assist with organizing products, displays, equipment, and supplies for vendor events, conferences, pop-up shops, and activations.

Help coordinate loading, unloading, transportation preparation, and event inventory management.

Support operational setup and breakdown for events and productions.
Vendor & Workflow Support

Assist with tracking vendor shipments, supply orders, and incoming inventory deliveries.

Help maintain organized warehouse, production, and inventory storage areas.

Participate in workflow improvement discussions focused on operational efficiency and organization.
Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in inventory systems, logistics, operations, and business workflows.

Familiarity with spreadsheets, Shopify, or inventory tracking systems preferred.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
