Fashion Designer Internship
Position Title: Fashion Designer Intern

Position Summary:
We are looking for a creative and innovative Fashion Designer Intern to join our dynamic design team. This internship will offer the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced designers, gaining hands-on experience in fashion design, from concept development to final production. The ideal candidate should have a strong artistic sense, a passion for fashion, and a keen eye for trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
- Assist in the development of seasonal collections under the guidance of senior designers.
- Participate in research and brainstorming sessions to gather inspiration for new designs.
- Help in sketching designs and creating mood boards for presentations.
Fabric and Materials:
- Assist in the selection of fabrics, trims, and accessories for garment production.
- Coordinate with fabric suppliers to obtain samples and ensure materials meet quality standards.
Sampling and Production:
- Work closely with the pattern makers and tailors to develop prototypes and samples.
- Attend fittings and assist in the alteration process to ensure the final product meets design specifications.
Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated on current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- Prepare reports on fashion trends and market analysis to support the design team's decision-making.
Project Coordination:
- Support the team during photoshoots and marketing campaigns.
- Assist in the organization and preparation for trade shows and fashion shows.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Strong sketching and illustration skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design software.
- A good understanding of garment construction, textiles, and fashion trends.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with the ability to work in a team environment.
